Home Made Peanut Butter

This is so easy, and much healthier, cheaper and tastier than buying it pre-made, you’ll probably never go back to buying it again. It comes in really useful for making treats and snacks with…and also for eating straight from the jar!!
Quantity:
Makes Two regular jars or one very large Jar
Cost:
€2.97 in total (max)
Ingredients:
- 600g Peanuts
Method:
- Add peanuts to a food processor and blitz for 5-15 minutes (depending on how powerful your food processor is). You will need to regularly stop the food processor and scrape the peanuts from the sides.
- Keep blitzing the peanuts until they become a smooth runny butter. Do not be tempted to give up and stop the process before it’s complete. So, even when you think it’s ‘done’ and as smooth as its going to get…. Blitz it for a few more minutes to be sure!!
Nutrition Facts:
Per Tablespoon!

Tips:
- Don’t throw out your old Jars, you can reuse these for storing your nut butter and healthy Nutella, or for storing your energy /protein balls and ‘clean chocolates’ in.
- Alternatively, you can buy the storage jars you see in my pictures for €1 each in Ikea, I recommend you stock up on a few of them.
- You can also use this same method for making other nut butters such as Almond Butter, cashew nut butter etc. It’s so quick and cheap to whip up your own batches of Peanut Butter and Almond Butter every week or two.
